An Animated Bitmap Viewer for your Pebble Watch!
The latest offering from the Steamchest Chronicles workbench, this animated bitmap viewer allows the user to load up two sets of bitmaps and either single step through them, or run them as an animation series at any rate between two and 20 frames per second. The user can toggle between single step and animation mode, as well as between the two different image sets.
To demonstrate the Pebble's ability to multitask (and to reduce the number of program slots required) this App also includes a copy of both the Lefthanded and Righthanded versions of the SteamCab Analog Watchface.
The maximum size of images that can be included is currently limited to 64k (this is the upper limit of a program resource segment in the current version of the Pebble SDK). For demonstration purposes this version of the program has been preloaded with two series of 11 images taken from Eadweard Muybridge's groudbreaking work on image animation, including his original 1878 series "Sallie Gardner at a Gallop" (also known as "The Horse in Motion") and one of his later series of studies of the human form produced while working at the University of Pittsburgh.
As is customary for SteamCab offerings, the source code to this App is published simultaneously at Github.com. It has been extensively annotated to encourage learning and experimentation.

Description
A light-hearted but hopefully somewhat useful event-driven Pebble App. In addition to its traditional Stopwatch and Countdown Timer functions, Tempus Fugit also provides a Real Time Meeting Cost calculator and three embedded watchfaces, including two variants of the SteamCab Simple Analog Watchface, as well as the Simplicity digital display.
The Meeting Cost Calculator automatically provides the total cost of any timed event, based upon user-controlled parameters (Total Number of Attendees, Average Salary and Elapsed Time). If you prefer to see your costs rising in real time, start the function timer and your Pebble will provide you with second-by-second meeting cost updates.
Both the Stopwatch and Countdown functions include an Alert feature. sounding distinctive Vibe patterns at user-specified intervals and the distinctive Analog Watchface App can be configured to operate in either "right handed" (clockwise) or "left handed" (counterclockwise) mode.
And best of all, all four functions can operate at the same time. Yes, your Pebble can now multitask!

It is a whimsical revisiting of the traditional “Chairman Mao” watch, developed at the request of reddit user “saltedlolly”. Here’s his description of the original:
“If you have ever visited China, an almost essential souvenir is the infamous Chairman Mao watch. The watch features a picture of Chairman Mao and his hand waves as it runs. It definitely falls into the so-tacky-it's-awesome camp, and is a "communist kitsch" must have! The other thing about the watches is that, being cheaply made in China, they are also almost guaranteed to break after a few days of use....”
“Living in Beijing, I have been thinking recently that it would be awesome if the watch could be recreated as a Pebble watchface. I'd love to have Mao's mug waving back at me from my Pebble. It would also be good that the damn thing doesn't break after a few days. ;)”
Well, who could resist a challenge like that? So here is a first cut at a Pebble Chairman Mao Analog watchface – Wear It With Pride!
