Wearable tech is great. I love my Pebble watch from the moment I heard about it, and like all the great apps. But there is one problem. I need to choose between them, and can have only one active at a time. I love to see weather, but not just weather all the time.

Enter the world of Pebcasts. Pebcasts are podcats for your watch, reimagined from ground up. Download the Pebcast Watch app from mypebblefaces.com, and pair your watch at Pebcast.com, to start streaming messages on your watch. Or go ahead and build a cast in seconds and share your ideas with the world.

Pebcast has these features in this beta release:

For everyone,

1) Subscribe to casts, and see streaming messages every time you look at your watch. Few sample data streams available right now (Weather forecast, Bitcoin, Litecoin quotes, Stock quotes, News casts, some inspirational messages).

2) Get a pebcast email address, and autoforward messages to that id to get them streamed to your watch (first 150 chars of the body text). NEW: Build Mail Rules to extract significant titbits of information from your mails and cast to your watch (Convert one page email from your bank into a one liner that fits your watch)

3) Request your favorite watch face developers to integrate Pebcasts into it.

4) Convert any RSS/Atom feeds into a pebcast (Pretty much every news/blog website supports RSS), and start to get news alerts in your watch.

5) Seek help in the forum if you decide to personalize it per user and need API integration.

For developers,

5) Integrate Pebcast in your watch app, to make it more engaging. Add a live ticker row in your watch app and point it to pebcast. Reference implementation in github

6) Build your idea as a cast, integrate with pebcast API to deliver personalized messages to your audience.

7) Provide a live datafeed to pebcast so that even those who don't actively use your watch face will get to use it via live streams. You can also stream control data that can guide your watch face.
