Based on the computer system LCARS from the Star Trek series.
The numbers under the current time “1701” will show the time in UNIX timestamp.
The bars at the bottom will show the time like ‘Times Square’ or possibly in binary.
Updated with simple animation
The hour is displayed as large as possible, with the minutes written in text. The minutes overlay the hour with a black border.
The two digital displays could be used for a 2nd and 3rd time zone, or date (with two letter day indicator), chronometer, Zulu time, or count down timer. You would be able to specify which digital display does what from the companion app, and configure any additional aspect of the digital displays, such as alarm timer. Each digital display field ought to be configurable independently of the other, such that you could have two chronometers, count down timers, etc… if you wanted. The four arrow elements at the center would serve as a battery level indicator – one corner arrow element would disappear as the battery drops below 75%, two disappear at 50%, and so on. This function might be turned on and off in coordination with the labels feature.
An endless space battle!
The amount of enemy ships represents the current hour.
A random enemy ship shoots a laser every minute.
The hour is represented by the amount of missiles on the bottom left.
The minute is represented by the “Acquiring Target” percentage on the bottom right.
When the hour changes, the player ship marks all the enemies with targets and shoots the required amount of missiles to destroy the enemy ships.
New enemy ships appear, the number depends on the current hour.
The top left number is the current date.
The top right number is the current temperature.

It’s an adaptation of the display of the “Freebox Revolution”, to which I added the date. Lets’ call it Pebble Revolution 🙂
You can go to http://jnmattern.free.fr/PebbleRevolution/ to see what it would look like with your real local time. I haven’t found any picture of the front side of the watch which was not in a perspective view, so I made my “sort of flat” own 😉 Please wait at least for a minute to pass so you can see how hour and minutes digits are animated !
The date corresponds only to T1 (top digital display / white text on black background). The top display could also be used as a chronometer or count down timer. The second time zone (middle display / black text on white background) is intended only to display the time without date (because of how the screen is divided in to two equal larger thirds, and one smaller third – to maximize viability / size of any chronometer or countdown timer display). Turning labels on would only add am/pm/24, battery indicator, and alarm interval indicator. The bottom display is intended for use as a chronometer, countdown timer, or third time zone (i.e. T3 or Zulu) with corresponding date display.
This is a design I saw on the pebble Kickstarter page which shows the current time, temperature and weather conditions. It can be linked to your phone and the internet to get the information
The endless walking hero.
The sun and moon have a cycle depending on time of day.
LVL shows the total amount of days your Pebble has been running, with XP being the current day of the month (might need a small number in there somewhere!).
Hearts represent the battery percentage of your Pebble.
